At Ladlee we understand that safety comes above all. We are dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of all our customers and employees by taking the appropriate steps and setting safety guidelines across the store to make your shopping experience safer. Below are some FAQs that will hopefully answer all of your questions regarding our reopening. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

When are you reopening?

In line with the localised lockdown in Leicester and the government guidelines we are happy to say we are officially open for business as of the 25th of July. Please check our revised opening times here.

What measures are in place for customer safety?

Our priority is to protect our customers and employees to the best of our ability. Nothing matters more than ensuring your safety.

We are closely following all advice regarding appropriate safety measures required of a retail store from the government, treating this guidance as a minimum standard, and have implemented our own strict safety measures to ensure the well-being of our customers and employees.

These measures include:

A strict Social Distancing protocol:

- Limits to the number of customers allowed in the store at any one time. This includes our Menswear section which is located on the second floor. This means you may be asked to wait before entering the store for Womenswear or Menswear. We want to do this to ensure there is a safe distance maintained between customers, whilst following the guidelines.
- Clear signage and floor decals, as well as assistance from employees, to guide customers through the store.

Personal Protection for employees and customers:

    - Hand sanitiser will be available upon entrance of the store and as you make your way upstairs towards the Menswear section.

    - Abiding by the new regulations set by the government, it is essential customers wear face masks. Failure to do so may result in the customer not being allowed into the store.

    Increased in-store Cleaning:

    - The frequency and rigour of store cleaning have both increased, particularly around high frequency touchpoints such as tills, counters, and employee areas such as stock rooms and lunch areas.

    Are fitting rooms open?

While we get used to this new normal we have temporarily closed off our fitting rooms.  We believe this is the right decision at this stage but we are continuously monitoring our re-openings and our health and safety policies and may review our fitting room policy as the situation develops. However, customers have 14 days to exchange an item if you change your mind. For more information on our refund and exchange policy click here.

Will you have a queuing system at the till?

Our floor marking will provide customers guidance of the system we have at our till. Yellow tape on the floor will indicate a safe distance for customers to keep when making payments. We will also have staff to assist you on where to stand when waiting to make your payment.

    Will staff wear PPE?

Staff will be provided with face masks and will be instructed to wear them. Gloves will be made available to employees if they wish to use them.

Which payment methods will be available?

Contactless payments and card payments will be encouraged to reduce the spread of infection. However, we will still be accepting cash payments as well.

Will there be a restriction on the number of customers in store?

Yes, we are limiting the number of customers into stores at any one time, in line with government guidelines.  We also have dedicated employees who are responsible for managing queues at the till, our store entrances, and also monitoring the sales floor to ensure social distancing measures are being followed.

Can I shop with friends & family or only own my own?

We would like to encourage our customers to shop in small numbers and avoid large groups of people. Therefore, we have set a limit of 6 people per group when entering the store.
